* The machine can cooperate with tractors with a power output exceeding 33 HP. If the tractor does not feature a dual clutch to operate the PTO drive, it is necessary to use a PTO shaft with an overrunning clutch (SJP freewheel clutch – right-hand rotation direction in accordance with LFMR S.A. Lublin). Otherwise, even when the clutch is disengaged, the rotor will continue to be driven.

Optional Extras:

- PTO Shaft

The Power Take-Off (PTO) shaft is used to transmit power from the tractor to the implement, ensuring its smooth and safe operation. For proper functionality, it must be appropriately selected to match the tractor's power and correctly adjusted in terms of length. Before operation, check the condition of the guards, connections, and joint lubrication. On tractors without a dual clutch, a shaft with an overrunning clutch may be required to prevent the machine from being driven after the PTO is switched off. Regular maintenance of the shaft increases its lifespan and operational safety.

Detailed Description:

  • The hay tedder-rake with a working width of 4.0 m is a versatile and highly efficient forage harvesting machine designed for the comprehensive preparation of hay and green forage on arable fields and meadows with a slope of up to 12°.

  • Thanks to its multi-functional design, it enables tedding, raking, and turning swaths, significantly accelerating the drying process and the preparation of material for harvesting.

  • The device performs perfectly in the roles of a hay tedder, hay rake, hay turner, or the popularly known "spider" tedder.

  • This high degree of functionality allows the machine to replace several individual implements, optimizing farm operations while saving time and labor costs.

  • Two rotors equipped with 16 double tines ensure efficient and uniform spreading of the material over a large area.

  • As a result, the obtained windrows are loose, even, and perfectly shaped, which is of key importance for the efficient performance of balers and other collection machinery.

  • The working width of 4000 mm and productivity reaching up to 3.5 ha/h allow for quick completion of tasks, even across extensive acreages.

  • The machine operates smoothly and stably thanks to its belt transmission and a PTO speed ranging between 350 and 540 rpm.

  • A power requirement of 40 HP, combined with the ability to work with smaller tractors starting from 33 HP (when equipped with an overrunning clutch PTO shaft), makes this implement compatible with the majority of agricultural tractors.

  • Consequently, this rotary tedder easily finds its place on small family farms as well as large agricultural enterprises.

  • Stable operation is supported by robust 15x6.00 (4 PR) tyres with a pressure of 0.17 MPa, while the three-point hitch frame with a spacing of 965 mm allows for quick and easy connection of the machine to the tractor.

  • The entire structure is characterized by high durability, making the device well-suited for operation under diverse field conditions.

  • The implement can work at speeds of up to 15 km/h and reach transport speeds of up to 20 km/h, which significantly enhances its functionality and reduces travel times between field plots.

  • An additional advantage is the low noise level emitted, measuring just 76 dB, which positively affects operator comfort, especially during long-term tasks.

  • The tedder handles every stage of green forage preparation exceptionally well – from tedding two or three swaths, turning and aerating the scattered material, and clearing forage away from fences, to forming even windrows and merging two or three swaths into a single, wide, and stable windrow structure.

  • By combining the functions of a hay tedder, grass rake, and forage spreader into a single piece of equipment, it is possible to significantly shorten working hours and increase the overall efficiency of the feed preparation process.

  • This machine is a proven choice for any farm that demands reliability, high craftsmanship, and versatile application throughout the harvesting season.

  • The 4.0 m tedder-rake is an ideal solution for farmers seeking a solid, durable, and effective forage harvesting implement that seamlessly integrates the functions of a tedder, rake, and turner to deliver outstanding results even in challenging field conditions.
